"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." -Matthew 28:19 - 20

Apologetics Minute: Faith & Reason
“Didn’t the “Big Bang Theory” prove God didn’t start the universe?”
Hardly, if anything, the “Big Bang Theory” gives evidence toward the existence of God. Consider that the “Big Bang” still required materials that would “Bang,” laws of nature that allow a “Bang,” and a space, a plane of existence, for a “Bang” to occur. Ultimately, the line backwards leads to God or nothing, and nothing only makes more nothingness. The entire theory relies on a start of the universe, which still requires Starter. While this may not take one directly to the God of the Catholic Church, it is the strongest way to lead one there. Finally, an interesting point to remember is that it was a Catholic priest and physics professor, Georges Lamaitre, who first introduced and developed the “Big Bang Theory”. It didn’t stop him from believing in God, or being Catholic.
"wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church."
